EP
In 2022, I travelled to Greece.
Even whilst on the ferry between the Adriatic and the Ionian Seas, the time had already shifted by an hour. An announcement informed me of this. I had fallen out of time: whilst others went about their daily routines on the island or in the city day in, day out, I moved through urban and rural landscapes at a counter-rhythm. In this simultaneity, I find traces of the past.
I walk through the grounds of the Acropolis and see carved stone, shaped and moved before human time began. Through human labour, it became an architecture of history here.
Yet even in the stone I discover on the island, or in the fine grain of sand on the shore, there are traces and structures that tell of movement and stories. I can listen attentively and feel textures, see colours and hatching. I observe and I listen – inwards.
In doing so, I ask myself: what direction does time take? Does the past lie behind us, or beneath us, or even within us – and how does experience settle as a layer upon or within all these bodies?
I see the concrete paving on Lycabettus, a hill in Athens, with skid marks that, like a painting, tell stories of speed, control and loss of control.
In a shop, I discover a small spinning top that reminds me of my childhood and sends me spinning back into the past. Then I hear the traffic lights and realise how different this sound is from what my ears are used to. The city is fast and loud and warm.
I move.
On my birthday we dance in a circle whilst a song about death plays. A cycle takes shape: life and death, from beginning to end, then and now, here and there.
Terra Blu (Inner City) oscillates between observation and memory, between external movement and internal rhythm, between form and dissolution. Within it, time appears as a multidimensional landscape and spreads out: in simultaneous directions.

Printed Art Publication
My digital EP release is accompanied by an analogue print publication, translating the processes and thoughts behind the tracks into a series of drawings.
The publication unfolds as an imaginative geological map: a visual terrain of movement, rhythm, layers, forces, traces, and transformations. A legend guides the reader through geological terms and questions that connect the sonic, physical, and spatial processes explored throughout the EP.
It's a A2 folded publication / poster, offset printed double-sided in silver and black.
